THE DEAD IS DEAD
Seven years ago, we were emerged as a collective whose members were alike; Sharing similar interests, the likes of cheapest jokes to a kindred of having ones that we're looking upto: DJs, producers, record labels.
For you who'd been following our journey since day 1, you might remember that we weren't those collective with tons of friends who's been always coming to our gigs. It wasn't easy for us to get many crowd on Foundation, our signature, regular gigs. We were that 'crowdless' to the level of we joked to ourselves that we were a 'Unit Musik Arwah', a music unit that's entertaining the dead (oh now we can understand finally that the name is such a prayer). However, we're happy that we'd released many EPs and singles from Logic Lost, CVX, Dickaz123 to our own members ASAM and Fyahman.
We read about Jockey Slut once in Noisey couple years ago, where it said that the cult magazine was "the Greatest Dance Magazine You Probably Never Read". We reckon, if Deadrec was ever successful as a collective, we'd like to be remembered as the greatest music collective you probably never heard/met. If we're successful, we repeat. We leave it to you after these seven years of our journey.
After these seven years, we'd like to oficially announce that we have decided to dissolve... sort of.
