Amazing work yesterday from the young volunteers from SMC North Group who spent the afternoon with our Gardening Group weeding, watering and tidying up around the town yesterday. They brought enthusiasm and good humour to their tasks. A real blessing to us. Thank you to Darren and the SMC team and of course our ever present Gardening Group for a great day's work.

Well done to Cillian who created a pollinator garden as part of his Foroige Balbriggan leadership award. We were delighted to support him on this project. He even took a break from studying for his Leaving Cert to work on it today!!! So we wish him all the best with that too.

It was wonderful to welcome such a large number of staff from Grant Thornton Ireland to Balbriggan this morning to help us in our preparation for TidyTowns Ireland adjudication. The team worked hard mainly weeding George’s Square and the pollinator beds at St Paul’s Crescent.
We were so lucky that Grant Thornton's Green Team partnered with us as part of their community outreach.
Thanks also to Breffni in Our Balbriggan - Get Involved who welcomed the group and outlined the developments happening in our town.
Thanks also to our own volunteers out this morning too (and most mornings).
