When most people see this, they just see toys lined up.

When I see this, I see my son creating his own sense of peace, comfort, and understanding in a world that can feel overwhelming.

For him, lining up toys isn’t ‘just autism’ — it’s organization, it’s structure, it’s beauty in his own language. As parents, we’re reminded every day that our children may not see the world the same way we do, and that’s okay.

Their perspective is just as meaningful, just as valid, and often even more beautiful than we could imagine.

Home made peanut butter granola is %999999 times better and protein packed with 0 added sugar (other than the ones in the PB) than store bought 👌

Will definitely make some more combinations 😋

First day of school! 🎒 The kids are excited for new friends and adventures… and us parents? Let’s be honest — we’re just excited for a hot coffee in peace. ☕😂

It’s a win-win: they get their classrooms, and we finally get our living rooms back. Here’s to learning, growing, and maybe even sneaking in a nap. 😉

Rows of cars, soldiers in line,
A world arranged, uniquely mine.
Every toy has a perfect place,
Order and calm, a gentle space.

He plays with joy, steady and true,
A world of wonder, seen by few.
Not wrong, not less, just beautifully different—
A masterpiece of moments, perfectly consistent. 💙

It’s 5:30 AM. No sleep. My toddler woke up and wouldn’t settle back down. I’ve got a 12-hour shift ahead, and I’m already drained before the day even begins. 😓

Some days feel impossible. Some mornings, it feels like you’re running on fumes with no finish line in sight. But then I pause for a second and remind myself — this is part of the journey.

Every hug, every little giggle, every “I love you, Daddy” is worth it.

Even when it’s exhausting, even when it’s hard, we keep showing up. And somehow, that’s enough. 💙

Every morning, my Garmin watch gives me a little nudge — a reminder to keep moving, stay consistent, and take on the day. It’s simple, but it works. Motivation doesn’t always come from big speeches… sometimes it’s right on your wrist. ⌚💪

Behind every run, every early morning, and every finish line — there’s her. 💙 My wife surprised me with the Garmin Fore Runner 570, but the real gift is her support in this journey to stay fit, healthy, and present as a dad.

Couldn’t do it without her. 👌

What started as a normal day out with the kids turned into one of the most stressful weeks of our lives.

My wife brought our boys to the playground — the car was fine when she left. But when it was time to go home, it just wouldn’t start. They waited 2 hours for a tow, stuck with the kids, only to be left without a car for days.

After 3 days, the garage said it was a timing chain & camshaft issue. First we were quoted €5,700, then a few days later another €400 for another fault found, and finally just got a call today was told it’s a total engine failure — costing €7,700+ to fix.

This is a 2019 Peugeot 3008, well cared for, and yet the engine has failed completely. We’ve since discovered there’s a recall on this exact engine issue, which makes it even harder to accept as we weren’t even notified of it all.

We’re a family, and one of our boys has autism. Being without a car has made daily life incredibly difficult — hospital appointments, having to bring the kids to work early in the morning on summer break and leaving their sleep til late to collect each other from work, even as simple as going to buy something at a shop have turned into a huge source of stress and worry.

We’ve already reached out to Peugeot Ireland by email and are waiting for their response. But right now, we need help to make sure they listen.

👉 Please share this post so that Peugeot and Stellantis see the real impact this has on families like ours.

What should have been a reliable car has become a financial and emotional nightmare — and we don’t want any other family to go through this.

We have not indicated where the car was bought and where it’s currently being diagnosed and repaired “YET” as we are trying to communicate with them and we wouldn’t want to jeopardize their businesses at this point but if they will not cooperate we will do so in the following updates.

But as this is a known matter which Stellantis and PEUGEOT has known we will push further until it is resolved.

Sunny days in Ireland are made for adventures like this 🌞🍃

We spent the day at Farran Wood, where forest trails meet a peaceful lake, and the kids could explore nature while we slowed down and soaked it all in. From playground laughs to quiet riverside views, it’s the perfect family escape just outside Cork.

Would you choose a forest walk or lakeside picnic first?
