Some days stay with you 🌊🎬🍀

A mystical day on Cape Clear for Irish Language Day with the Fastnet Film Festival. My first visit to the island, and my first screening there. Surrounded by incredible people, films and talent. Thank you 🍀

Delighted to have screened my film as part of a brilliant line-up of Irish-language films, including a very special screening of the Báite. Experiencing Irish films in Cape Clear felt so special. The boat journey and walks to the screenings made it all the more memorable.

Thanks to Jean, Breda, and the kind person working on Cape Clear who helped me find where my film was screening.

So happy to share, my film Seanscoil has been officially selected for this year’s Fastnet Film Festival 🎬 🎉

I’ve attended this special festival for the past few years, so to now have my own film included in the programme means a great deal to me.

Seanscoil is in the categories of Best Cork Film, Best Irish Language Film, and Best Irish Film 🎉🎉

The film will be screening throughout festival week, including screenings on Cape Clear Island (full dates on poster❤️)

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this film. Really looking forward to experiencing the festival this year from a completely different perspective.

Pinch me moment… ✨

Seanscoil will screen at the Fastnet Film Festival this May at the following times:
* Wednesday, 20 May – 8:00pm | The Adelphi Cinema
* Thursday, 21 May – 2:15pm | The Regal
* Cape Clear Island – Irish Language Day | Screenings throughout the day
Friday, 22 May – 1:00pm | The Adelph

Seascape hits the big screen tonight at The Gate Cinema!
A film about the beautiful sea swimming community that’s grown in my hometown. 💙

Featuring the inspiring Imelda Lynch - a woman whose love for the water sparked a movement during the pandemic, bringing connection, courage, and hope when it was needed most. 🏊‍♀️✨

Proud to be part of the IndieCork 2025 programme! 🎬
