❌Air Canada is cancelling most of its flights due to a pay dispute with its cabin crew union. ✈️❌
​Starting today, flights will be cancelled in a phased wind-down, leading to a complete grounding of most Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge services by Saturday, August 16th. 🗓️
​
​The good news is that flights operated by Air Canada Express (Jazz and PAL Airlines) are not affected and will continue as scheduled. ✅
​If you have a flight booked with Air Canada in the coming days, be sure to check your flight status and contact the airline for alternative arrangements. Stay safe and informed! ℹ️

Cancellations after airline fails to agree deal with flight attendant union

🕶️ TfL has just announced that the average-speed camera system on the A10 has been extended to cover the southern section from Southbury Road to the A406. This is a crucial step in making our roads safer. 🚗💨
Since these cameras were first introduced on other parts of the A10, collisions involving death and serious injury have been cut by more than half. That's a huge win for safety! 🙌
This new measure, along with other safety improvements and an injunction against 'car cruising', is part of a joint effort with Enfield Council and the Met Police to tackle road danger and anti-social behaviour. 🤝

This work is a vital part of the Vision Zero goal to eliminate all deaths and serious injuries from London’s transport network. Let’s all do our part to make our streets safer for everyone. ❤️

🍶​ 🫗Why the 100ml Liquid Rule is Still a Thing at Airports ✈️

​Remember when we were told the 100ml liquid rule for carry-on bags was going away? 🤔 Well, it's been delayed. The reason? A major hiccup with the new 3-D security scanners. 🖥️
​The 100ml limit will only be lifted once all scanner types are certified and widely deployed across all airports. So, until then, keep those tiny bottles handy! 🧴😉
