DimeStore Recordings (09-16) was a weekly live music night which showcased some of the best live acts from Ireland & abroad. The night began in 2009 when two passionate friends, one a musician, the other a sound engineer, decided they would embark on a journey to help up and coming acts spread their music. By hosting this free night, with a mixture of some established

and some unknown acts, they succeeded in enticing larger audiences to see the budding talent this live underground music scene has to offer.

Awarded Best Live Music Night in Ireland 2012 by Music Review Unsigned (MRU), DimeStore has garnered somewhat of a cult following amongst Ireland's up and coming rock 'n' rollers and music lovers. Thanked on many LPs and EPs, the lads names have appeared on releases from such bands as The Hot Sprockets, The Eskies, Túcan, Markas Carcas, Raglans, The FitzaFrenic, Veroa and Hassle Merchants, to name but a few. DimeStore Recordings hosts a stage at KnockanStockan Independent Music Festival 26th-28th of July this year and have done so since 2010.

We do all need an aul kick up the arse from time to time and we're feeling like this may be the right time for that kick! Not just our arses but, yours too.
We're gonna try bring back the DimeStore buzz of puttin' together a brilliant lineup that mixes genres & styles that ultimately gets the scene minglin' & creating!
The aim again will be a free in event (bi-weekly) 8pm til late to showcase the best acts around, basically. Like before, acts will be paid but we may add a "Pay What Can" scenario as we want to show the acts their worth. We were lucky with Sweeney's back in the day, going to them with our "crazy" 3 floor DimeStore ideas -18 bands of a Thursday night. They fully supported it though, thankfully.

There hasn't been much like this since we stopped and we think it's something that's needed for the Irish music scene right now and with your help it'll work! Come along, interact, follow and support the bands you love & the ones you haven't heard yet!

F**k yeah!
Another deadly DimeStore last night!
Thanks a million to all who came out last night and partied with us and thanks a billion to the acts for making it such a class night! Yiz were all excellent!
Big up to the Off-Key Collective, Funkuele, Scustin', FeeF and Patt Caroline!

Last night was so good!!
Real nice to see that many out for DimeStore again, thanks a million for coming out and checking out the acts!
We were blown away by the quality of them all, so a massive thanks goes out to WOB, Simon Masterson Band, Punch Face Champions, Moley P O Suilleabhain & Dan from Ibex. Stunning sets outta the lot of yas!!

What a night Thursday was!! So good!
Thanks a million to everyone who came down to Drop Dead Twice. We were all blown away by the quality of the acts, so a special thanks to them for coming down and playing for us!
