Since the first issue was published in April 2001, EMERGENCY SERVICES IRELAND has developed a very strong readership base, both at home and abroad.

For Respond2025 we hope to have provided something for all levels of . Experienced CFRs, new CFR schemes, emerging CFR schemes and everyone interested or committed to increasing OHCA Survival. We hear current updates, we learn of the plans to improve OHCA survival, we hear from experts, we have numerous CFR related workshops our biggest selection ever this year, but we have a little fun too – we are volunteers. Response driving is frequently conflated with pursuit driving, according to D/Grada Mark Ferris, GRA Executive Member for the Dublin West Division.

Writing in the latest issue of Emergency Services Ireland he points to the urgent need for An Garda Síochána to address the lack of pursuit training for Gardaí, and claims that these policies will remain just theoretical and expose everyone involved to high-risk situations, not to mention representing a major risk to the public.
