Ringsend & District Historical Society
Bloomsday Ringsend 2025 Launch
You are cordially invited to attend the launch of this year’s festival on Thursday, 12th June at 7:00 PM in Ringsend & Irishtown Community Centre.
Our “Writer’s Adventure” event, which incorporates the writings of both young and old from this community, will launch this year’s festival.
Our special guest to present the awards this year will be Gary Brown, fresh from his wonderfully successful musical play “The Dockers” at the Ambassador.
George Murphy, who played the starring role in that musical, will perform a few songs on the evening.
Also on display will be the original paintings of every house in Dublin that James Joyce lived in, and a brief presentation of these will be made by their artist and painter, Charlie Hulgraine.
It promises to be a great community evening, and we hope the event can be enhanced with your presence.
