Six years after winning Hot Rod Drag Week we finally won another big one. Somehow, some way we finished in the top 5 of all 300 cars at Sick Smokies and more importantly, we won the A/GAS class with a 5.50 average. We went as quick as 5.41 at 130 mph and other than killing one fuel pump and one water pump, we had zero issues. We towed our trailer through the smoky mountains up and down the tail of the dragon and every day Joe Cole and I had the clutch tune dialed #. This is our fifth drag and drive event of 2025 with Blapshemi. we finished all five. We won three of them. We finished second at another one. Best of all the car is coming home in one piece and I can take my kids to school in it again. time to chill thanks everybody for cheering us on and for saying nice things and for supporting us during this long, hard, expensive, gratifying journey. It ain't over but we're definitely gonna enjoy the car for what it is and focus on other projects going forward. first up is the Cadillac....
