John Ayres was a legend. A true gentleman and one of our industry's greats! I feel privileged to have known him and to have worked with him and love seeing his legacy live on. Champion and Toggi are two of the most well respected brands in equestrian sport today and I know that John would be so proud of what has been achieved. And there is even more to come. I feel very fortunate to work with such a fantastic company as Finest Brands International and the fantastic team behind the brands that make it all happen.

The jump season gets underway at Chepstow Racecourse this weekend with two action-packed days of racing, we are delighted to sponsor two races at this exciting season opener.

Champion has been a long time supporter of the sport of racing. Our founding father John Ayres had the privilege and pleasure of owning many racehorses over his lifetime, and his love of point-to-pointing and National Hunt racing was well known to all who knew him. Sadly John passed away in 2013, however we are proud to continue his support of the sport.

The 2m Champion Hats Juvenile Hurdle gets Saturday’s race card underway at 2.17pm, while the 2m 3f John Ayres Memorial Handicap Chase will come under starters orders at 5.12pm. Read our latest blog for more info https://championhats.co.uk/champion-supports-racing-at-chepstow/

Very excited to share the fantastic new FormaHoof Ltd website which went live yesterday! I was approached by Sabrina earlier in the year to write copy for a new website for FormaHoof and the more I learned about the product, the more I loved it. So much so that I now have FormaHoof on one of my own horses and it's made an incredible difference even after just 3 weeks! Very honoured to be working with this innovative team and can't wait to see what the future holds for FormaHoof. 👏👏👏

A very interesting article on Cancer in Pets, by my pet expert clients HomeoPet. Hopefully, none of you will ever have to face cancer in your family. Unfortunately, it's all too common. :'(

Did you know that one in four dogs and one in five cats will develop cancer in their lifetime and yet elephants don’t get cancer? Our DNA and that of our pets has a large part to play in the development of some cancers, with some animals/breeds genetically disposed to developing the disease. However...

As someone that once contemplated a career in veterinary, but decided to go down a more 'commercial' route, pulling this piece together from expert insights by my ace clients Noble Futures was fascinating! Very useful information for any vets out there considering an alternative career path.

Becoming a vet is no easy task. You’ve spent 5-6 years at university, more if you’ve gone on to achieve further qualifications such as a PhD or a Masters in a chosen specialist field. You&...

There is an old Irish proverb: "Sell the cow, buy the sheep, but never be without a horse." It pretty much sums up how the Irish feel about these incredible animals. World renowned for its affinity with the horse, Ireland is a nation of horsemen and women and the country has historically punched far...
