Today, colossal pyroclastic flows thundered down the slopes of Semeru, unleashing boiling ash, rock, and volcanic gas at terrifying speed. Entire valleys disappeared under massive rolling ash clouds within minutes.
This is one of the deadliest volcanic forces on Earth — unstoppable, fast, and fiercely destructive.
Indonesia sits on the Ring of Fire, and Semeru just reminded the world why this region demands constant vigilance.

Galway stands with Irfan!

A few weeks ago, young Irfan went through a deeply upsetting bullying incident at school — but today, his story is taking a powerful new turn.

This week, a local youth NGO visited Irfan and his family to show full solidarity, compassion, and unwavering moral support. No child should ever feel alone — and thanks to our community, he doesn’t.

Thanks to coach Benjamin Davis, Irfan has now enrolled in Mixed Martial Arts self-defence training — helping him rebuild confidence, strength, and the courage that was always inside him.

Let’s keep lifting this brave Galway boy up.
Let’s keep standing against bullying.
And let’s keep showing what community really looks like.
