Magpie 6 Media Entertainment Magpie 6 Media is a content creator and service studio producing 2D and mixed media animation.

Magpie 6 Media is a Dublin based animation studio set up in 2008 by the husband and wife team of Clifford Parrott and Christina O’Shea. Both had been working in the Los Angeles animation industry for many years before coming to Ireland. Cliff is an award winning animator having produced animation for notable clients such as Adam Sandler, Damon Wayans and Dana Carvey. Magpie 6 Media has produced an

imation for clients such as Disney and ESPN, and creates its own in-house animated and live action properties. The studio is currently co-producing a television series “The Travels of the Young Marco Polo” (26x25’), slated to broadcast worldwide in 2013.

Howdy All! We’re putting on a little animation festival at the Ennis Public Library the 2nd week of December! With a dozen animated shorts in the mix! The line up includes shorts from Ireland’s top animation studios such as Flickerpix, WigglyWoo, Distillery Films, Monster, Turnip & Duck, ALT, Studio 9, and Magpie 6 (of course). The shindig kicks off at 1:00 and lasts an hour and a half. Rumour has it there’ll be goodies for the kids. Apologies for the lack of recent uploads but we’ve been super busy. Hope to have some new content shortly.

Just in time for Animation Di**le, we wanted to give a shout out to animators, Irish or otherwise, that a rare opportunity has dropped into our laps. The world renowned Disney Feature Director, story teller, and immensely gifted animator, Will Finn, has set up an online course on his page www.willthefinn.com for those who wish to take their animation skills to the top level.
