An Angel’s Sunrise by Patrick Gately represents the author's continuation of his poetic inquiry into what sustains people through life’s uncertainties.

"In a cultural environment often focused on productivity and external success, the collection offers a quieter proposition: that meaning is shaped as much by inner awareness as by outward accomplishment, and that understanding one’s reasons for living may be a lifelong process rather than a single conclusion."

Patrick Gately’s latest poetry collection, An Angel’s Sunrise, enters the market with a reflective examination of life’s deeper motivations, offering

The Tragic Isle by N.P. Kennedy is described as one of two worthwhile seasonal reads by Irish Eyes columnist on Pencil Stubs Online literary magazine.

The manuscript for The Tragic Isle was found among the author's possessions following his death in 1978. It was finally published earlier this year.

The book is described here as a "well-written, informative work of historical reading."

Born and reared in Townsend Street Dublin in 1908, N.P. Kennedy witnessed first-hand the events leading to Irish freedom in the first decades of the last century. So did Sean O’Casey but he wrote plays about it. Did Kennedy write anything?

A few hours ago, at the An Post Irish Book Awards, Chapters was named Bookshop of the Year. I should be in bed. Instead I am drinking tea and trying to make sense of a n...

The latest book from prolific author, Dennis McIntyre, examines Ireland’s economic and social transformation through a rural lens.
