🎮 Breaking News: Gaming Giants Nintendo to Buy Out Small Arcade Business 🎮

In a shocking turn of events, Nintendo, the legendary gaming giant, has announced its decision to acquire Arcade Systems by Galtech, a small but innovative retro arcade machine company in Galway City Ireland. According to a statement released by Nintendo today, the acquisition will bring an "authentic retro gaming experience" to their already established portfolio.

"After seeing the incredible passion and creativity GalTech has put into each custom arcade machine, we knew this was a perfect fit," said Hitoshi Katashi, Nintendo's Senior Vice President of Global Arcade innovations. "We’re excited to bring these one-of-a-kind, nostalgic gaming experiences to the global stage."

As part of the deal, Arcade Systems by GalTech will be rebranding to "Nintendo Retro Arcade," and all future arcade machines will feature exclusive Nintendo-themed games.

Arcade Systems by GalTech

What started out as a one off DIY project - to build an 80’s style arcade machine has progressed into a small arcade machine build venture. Since the summer of 2019 we have undertaken and completed several creative retro gaming projects!

GalTech build these systems complete to the highest standard from woodwork to artwork, from wiring to software configuration. Open to standard builds, custom builds (design & artwork), sales, rentals, modifications and refurbishments, we provide after care and tech support with a no nonsense approach to retro gamer’s needs. Our cabinets are Irish built/non-imported whether standard or bespoke design!

Our mission is to provide a nostalgic, entertaining and social experience that only our retro bartop cabinets, tabletops and consoles can provide with a capability to play thousands of old-school games that spans five generations of gaming. We are constantly looking at ways to improve and challenge ourselves.

We hope people are enjoying our cabinets and projects as much as GalTech did making them!!
