I was checking the seaglass 'factory' today, found a handful but only two absolutely perfect pieces. That would be seaglass that is perfectly polished off from all sides but still thick enough to be substantial. Little treasures, so these are. Also found this piece of a tea cup, fused into the rock. There to stay and not for me to take.

Well, I couldn't start Christmas without dragging my family one more time through the mud, literally of course.
And it was absolutely worth it. Some rather lovely things, animals, flowers, shamrocks, old bottles and lots more, as if Santa left already something for me, haa. But, all has to stay in the bucket until after the holidays.

A lovely lady just gave me these wonderful sherds that she dug up in her garden. Some really lovely Spongeware there and I just love the bathing scene! See lots of future pendants!

All set up at the amazing Arcade. Dungloe. beside Kim Sharkey her Stiúdeo Ealaíne. Some fabulous artwork is on show not only by Kim but by Gary Mcgarvey as well. There are lovely paintings for sale, Edward Wallace is here with his forged goods, there's woodwork for sale and the café 'Soloma' is open and oh, I can smell mulled wine, mmmmh.
Also, places are still available to make a mummers mask out of straw! Come and check it out! It's all happening here!

If you missed me at the fairs, you still have a chance to buy a beautiful necklace or a pair of earrings/studs in the UV Arts C.I.C Garden of Reflection gallery in Bishop Street in Derry. The craft and art fair is open every day from 11am to 5pm until the 21st of December.
