Unbound by genres, OhhTwoNine's sound is a fusion of groovy house and techno with the deep bass wubs of UK garage, dubstep and breaks, which forms a unique journey through sounds whether it be through his productions or DJ sets. Cork, Dave is a Music Production graduate from Limerick Institute of Technology, with over 10 years of DJing experience. In 2019, he launched the
alias OhhTwoNine, where he debuted his first track releases, which lead to signing tracks to record labels across the globe such as Price.Incorrect.(BR), Reluxe Records (GER), Filth Inc.(IND) along with Irish labels such as Freezit Records, BLINDSided (John Gibbons) and ENIGMA Records. With clubs closed in 2020, OhhTwoNine created a lockdown live stream series to showcase his productions and selections through self-produced live streamed sets, these foundations lead to playing shows across Cork in venues such as Cyprus Avenue, Liquid Lounge, Crack Jennys and An Spailpin Fanach, and eventually his debut festival appearance at Bualadh Bass in 2024. OhhTwoNine has also made his impression on radio, where he held a monthly residency on Data Transmission in 2023, also with appearances on RTE Pulse for Sharpsons Gaff Party and Wag Ya Quirk with Dialectics on Warm.FM (BEL). With an ever-developing sound and determination to improve, OhhTwoNine will assure you that "The best is yet to come".
