On the day president Micheal D Higgins and Sabina leave Áras an Uachtaráin for the last time I am reminded of how lucky I was to be invited to the Áras to meet the president.

12 months ago, me and my Dad started a little project at home. We wanted to improve the appearance by building raised planters and adding some nice stone.

Blood, sweat, rain and tears, but it’s finished now. We also got the house painted to match. What do you think?

Stone came from Killenaule Quarries, and I would highly recommend Luke the painter for any paintwork.

I was delighted to go to my first away Treaty United FC game this week down at Cobh Ramblers for the promotion playoff semi-final second leg.

What an amazing support, an amazing squad of players and an amazing experience.

I can’t make the playoff final tomorrow against Bray Wanderers, but I wish everybody at Treaty the very best of luck.

Come on Treaty.

Well what a night that was for Treaty United FC. A bumper crowd of nearly 2000 saw us beat the lads from Cobh Ramblers FC 1-0.

Looking forward to the return leg on Tuesday night, it’s going to be my first away game!!

I am very excited to say that I have started doing some school talks on the importance of celebrating inclusion and diversity in all schools and communities.

I was proud to kick off in my own school Scoil Pol, Kilfinane, Co Limerick before heading to John The Baptist CS last week. I am looking forward to visiting some more schools in the coming weeks and months.
