Hi Style is delighted to announce that our Guest Speaker for The Aesthetics Awards 2025 is the fabulous Antonia Mariconda, Founder of The Campaign and The Safety in Beauty Group in the United Kingdom🇬🇧

Speaking on the announcement, Michael Mulcahy, Founder & CEO of Hi Style, said, “I am really thrilled that Antonia will be our Guest Speaker at The Aesthetics Awards 2025 on Saturday October 19th in the Radisson Blu Hotel Cork. Antonia is the passionate advocate, and tireless champion of safety in the cosmetic surgery, beauty and aesthetics sectors in the UK, and she has led real change that the British Government has listened to and acted on. Antonia’s visit to Ireland will be all about unveiling incredible plans for a similar campaign here that Hi Style is fully committed to supporting, as well as many new announcements for the industry here. I’m a huge fan of Antonia, and she has changed the UK nation for the better in the beauty and aesthetics industry, and I’ve no doubt that her passion, drive and deliverance for that industry is now going to be felt all over Ireland from 2026.”

ABOUT ANTONIA MARICONDA
Antonia founded The Safety in Beauty Group in 2013, and The Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards in 2014, her passion and focus has been on raising the awareness of safety in the cosmetic surgery, beauty, and aesthetics industry for the consumer, her contributions to paving a safer way for the consumer have been documented in hundreds of press and media articles and culminated in a meeting with the Prime Minister Theresa May in 2017.

Antonia frequently consults and works with local and government authorities to advise and guide on safer pathways and recommendations.

Antonia’s daily work at The Safety in Beauty Campaign includes responding to dozens of public queries, questions and concerns into the practice of aesthetics, beauty and cosmetic surgery and she has passionately dedicated her work as a consumer ambassador to ensuring the public have an independent entity to support and voice their collective concerns via Safety in Beauty.

Antonia Mariconda has tirelessly worked within the Aesthetics and Beauty industry for over twenty years, writing, consulting, producing, educating, creating, and campaigning for a safer beauty and aesthetics industry, she is a former winner of Best Beauty Blogger 2013 at The MyFacemyBody Awards, and has been nominated for several awards during her career.

As the Editor of Safety in Beauty, she is committed to keeping people up to date with news, developments and topics in the beauty and aesthetics industry and reviewing treatments, products and services that have a safety ethos at the core.
