💙 A Surprise We’ve Been Hoping For…

We bought this potty seat months ago—on February 28th 2025 to be exact.

Since then, it’s just been sitting there… waiting.

Today, out of the blue, our 4-year-old son with ASD walked up, sat on it, and looked at us like, “I’m ready.”

We were stunned. Speechless. Proud.

Our boy has been through so much—born with a condition that required anoplasty surgery and needing Movicol daily to stay comfortable. Potty training has always felt miles away.

But today, we saw a glimmer of what’s possible. Maybe this is the beginning.

One small step for him. One huge moment for us. 💫

Reading this broke my heart this morning. As parents, we always think we’re watching closely — but sometimes, it only takes a second.

A young boy suffered fatal brain damage after choking on a piece of sausage. It’s every parent’s worst nightmare.

This is your gentle reminder:

• Always cut food into small, manageable pieces, especially for toddlers.

• Encourage slow eating and supervise closely during mealtimes.

• Learn basic first aid or child CPR — it’s a skill you hope you never use, but one that can save a life.

We can’t bubble wrap the world for our kids, but we can be more prepared. 💔

Let’s look out for each other as parents. Stay safe. Stay present.
