Manchán Magan, rest in peace. 🙏

It's with a heavy heart that I share this news. Manchán Magan, a giant in the revival of Irish language, customs, and folklore, passed away last night.

He was a hero of mine, and I was blessed enough to have the chance to meet him a few months ago and got him to sign all his books that I then owned.

He was a lovely man to talk to, open about his illness too.

Ireland has lost another champion of her heritage. A very sad day for Irish language and culture today.

Manchán Magan, may you rest in peace. 🙏

A COURT SUMMONS & MEDIA ATTACK (MISE ÉIRE 2)

We have only just announced it, and already it’s being labeled "controversial" by Irish Independent writer Oisín McGovern (who has quite a history with Stephen—see Susanne’s article in the comments below for the full story). What’s more, we’ve been summoned to court by one of the main instigators who did everything they could to shut down our first event, which was a resounding success. Those who tried to cancel it attempted to cause panic and alarm by disingenuously predicting a horror show. They didn’t get one! But we wouldn’t want to disappoint, so Mise Éire 2, , on November 1st, will feature some spooky offerings.

We’re sure the usual ghouls will emerge as the date draws near.

It’s already begun—they’re seeking a restraining order against us, no less. Is this good old-fashioned revenge because our event was peaceful and a huge boost to Castlebar town? Or is it an attempt to justify their “cry wolf” warnings about us and Mise Éire? Because now they look like the liars they are. Antifa is no doubt salivating at the headlines they could create with their media friends if this vexatious, malicious, and immensely cheeky restraining order attempt succeeds.

Either way, just as we did the first time, we will carry on in the face of those who will stop at nothing to tear us down (and, in doing so, tear everything Irish down too).

Join us on November 1st at The Ivy Tower Hotel, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM for fascinating and pertinent panel discussions, individual talks, and stories on Ireland’s ancient past and the roots of Samhain (pagan and Christian), plus plenty of craic agus ceol, including a disco at Mantra Nightclub (within The Ivy Tower).

🎤📣 SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT 🎤📣

As part of our Samhain Sessions panel discussion on the horrors we're facing in today's world, we're delighted to welcome retired detective Jon Wedger.

This decorated former Metropolitan Police Service whistle-blower uncovered a trove of evidence suggestive of organised, brutal s*xual exploitation of children in London on a level that even goes beyond the notorious scandals in Rotherham or Rochdale.

Tickets available here... https://miseeire.telltix.com/events/miseeire/1858667

“I'd actually uncovered kids from the age of nine to 14 that were being trafficked for prostitution on an industrial scale. They were being sold in crack houses, swapped for nine rocks of crack, then taken to hotels to have s*x with builders that were working in central London. After that, the kids would then be taken to upmarket Arab restaurants in Mayfair around the Curzon Street, where they would be traded for as much as £2,000 each. That was happening on a daily basis. I was told if I ever mentioned what I’d uncovered, I would lose my home, job and children,” he claimed, “[because] this would “f***k the Metropolitan Police past, present and future.”

What Jon has to say is not easy to hear, yet we must not shy away as the horrors he has exposed are not unique to the UK.

The media and political silence around unaccompanied and missing migrant children in Ireland is startling. The media and Gardaí recently framed the disappearance of a missing little African child as likely death by natural causes, despite having not yet recovered his body. Tusla is pouring tens of millions into (often foreign owned) unregulated "care" (and into "care" companies who falsify background checks). The Child Law project was shut down by Roderic O’Gorman when his ministerial tenure came to an end (it offered the only public oversight into Tusla's activities) and the 2023 Sexual Exploitation Research Project at University College Dublin report Protecting Against Predators referred to the presence of grooming gangs operating in Ireland, targeting children under Tusla's remit.

The panel discussion will examine all of the above.

For those who wish to attend and enjoy a lighter experience, fear not, there’ll be live music playing all day in the lounge bar.

THE SHOCKING TRUTH BEHIND ONE JOURNALIST'S VENDETTA AGAINST STEPHEN KERR, MISE ÉIRE & THE IRISH INQUIRY
By Susanne Delaney

You couldn't make it up: Stephen and I have been summoned to COURT due to a malicious, vexatious accusation by someone who has previously assaulted Stephen and has had a serious vendetta against us and MISE ÉIRE.

It appears this person (who we can not name) has a frightening level of obsession. We believe our safety is at risk. There are NO lengths far-left activists won't go to, and no platform they won't be given by "journalists." None of these "journalists" care that they're putting us in danger.

Enter , who will find the time to attend court, no doubt, even though the self-professed "twerp" (his words on his X bio) is "too busy" to help children in dangerous situations.

He targeted the last MISE ÉIRE festival, never once offering a right of reply despite having my phone number. He calls Mise Éire controversial. He KNOWS it isn't. It's only deranged militant Antifa types who label it so. Them and their friends in the media. To manufacture hysteria, panic, and alarm.

Now, once again, here he is, not adding to his latest propaganda that the last event was a MAJOR success and revenue boost to Castlebar town. The 900-guest event was NOT the apocalyptic storm "journalists," and Antifa claimed. IT KILLS THEM, so now they seek revenge.

Oisín is focused in his latest article (about MISE ÉIRE 2) on emphasising Stephen's "failed" election attempts. Failing to point out it was OISÍN who likely cost him the locals (and also affected his general election bid). That's a HUGE omission. (By the way, if you're looking for tickets to MISE ÉIRE 2, here's the link... https://miseeire.telltix.com/events/miseeire/1858667)

Oisín printed a front page story (just prior to voting day) knowingly, FALSELY asserting as fact that Stephen orchestrated an assault on government members. In reality, the alleged assault was related to the Burke family, and as far as I'm aware, no one was charged or convicted.

Stephen was entirely innocent and was not given a chance to defend himself against SERIOUS allegations.

The Mayo News did NOT print a retraction. DESPITE Oisín apologising (see my phone call with him below). He was assisted by his friend and Stephen's politcal competition Ger Deere, who appears to dislike Stephen because he has FULL knowledge of what Deere got up to in a previous life (Enda Kenny, who Ger worked for, assisted Deere in his predicament).

Deere was more than happy to offer a fabricated "witness" account, and the editor (Michael Duffy) stood over the story. Mr Duffy's brother has targeted Stephen online (indicating journalistic bias and a conflict of interest).

Stephen ALMOST won the local election. But Oisín's highly inflammatory story (evidently malicious and intended to irreparably damage Stephen's reputation) put the kibosh on that and gave a boost to his mate. It arguably amounts to election fixing (and Oisín failed to highlight that Deere bussed Ukrainians and IPAS residents to vote for him).

The story on Stephen remains online and in print. Some around Castlebar still mistakenly believe Stephen assaulted Simon Harris.

At the time, I emphasised to "pro-immigration" Oisín that Stephen and I had highlighted the issue of vulnerable IPAS children living in windowless rooms in the Breaffy IPAS complex. I begged him to expose this travesty. He pointblank refused. He was "too busy covering sports" stories (but has plenty of time to print lies about Stephen).

Oisín was given shocking footage (as were The Irish Independent) of the abhorrent living conditions but ignored it even though there was a fire directly adjacent to the sports arena around that time.

But they are the good guys, right?

Oisín has since been rewarded for his loyalty to "journalism" by being given a role at The Irish Independent. I'll hedge bets he will eventually be offered a government advisory role. The role would very suit him. Ethics are not, nor ever will be, a prerequisite for such positions.

Mise Éire presents… The Samhain Sessions... honouring our ancient past and exploring current horrors (with some craic agus ceol too!)

Mise Éire is as Gaeilge for “I am Ireland”, meaning we as individuals are woven into the fabric that is our motherland. Under her forests of intertwining trees and beneath her patchwork quilt of rural fields lay the bones of millennia after millennia of our ancestors. In order to truly understand what it means to say “I am Ireland’ we invite you to take a trip with us into our ancient past and revisit who those people were, exploring the Irish folklore and legends that shaped them. In doing so, we can apply what we discover to the horrors we are facing today (ensuring we are not the last of our kind).

Many say Samhain coincides with the pagan festival of Samhain, which marked the end of harvest and the thinning of the veil between worlds, while others say Samhain began as a Christian vigil for All Hallow’s Day (a Christian holiday honouring all saints). Whatever you believe, come and join us for great discussions, stories, traditional music, Irish dancing, an end of the night spooky disco and more.

The event will take place at The Ivy Tower Hotel on November 1st 2025 from 4pm until 12:30am. This event is not fancy dress, however attendees are welcome to come in costume if they wish.
