📢 Update: Youghal Lighthouse Works Beginning Next Week 🛠️🌊
Works are due to commence at the Youghal Lighthouse site on Monday, 11th August 2025.
🔹 Enabling works will begin first.
🔹 Main contract works including demolition of the shed and construction of a new viewing platform are expected to start towards the end of August or early September.
🔹 The lighthouse will be repainted once all works are complete.
📍 Local residents are being notified.
📅 A full update on the project timeline will be provided at the Council's September Municipal District meeting once staff return from leave.
