Join historian John Dorney as he explores The Irish Civil War Fatality Project, a groundbreaking initiative conducted with UCC historian Dr Andy Bielenberg that sheds new light on the human cost of the Irish Civil War. This talk will challenge long-held beliefs and provide a fresh, data-driven perspective on one of Ireland’s most turbulent periods.

John Dorney is a widely published independent historian and chief editor of The Irish Story website, known for his insightful work on the Irish revolutionary era.
