The Irish Cup spin the wheel took me to hometown club Newry City Athletic Football Club for a Friday night under the lights at the Showgrounds.
The opposition was Drumaness Mills FC, the underdog and away side defied the odds and put in a professional and spirited performance against Stuart Kings Newry side to put themselves into the hat for the 5th round.
I was perched between the two Dugouts for this one and that was entertaining enough as the passion from both managers made for an exciting game.
I spoke to Drumaness manager Ciaran Brannigan to get his thoughts on a historic evening for the Mills.
The rain was still battering away at the Showgrounds so the audio for the interview was not the best - hopefully it turns out alright. Huge thanks to everyone down at Newry for their hospitality and kind comments!
Full highlights of the game to follow soon!
