There’s a quiet kind of magic that happens when a couple are in the moment… when everything focuses down to the two of you, the words being spoken, and the people who love you most 💜

Crafting ceremonies that feel like this — intimate, elegant, and full of meaning — is my favourite part of what I do.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that begins with something personal and deeply memorable, I’d love to create it with you.

❓Three questions I will ask YOU when we meet to discuss your ceremony in detail are:

1. Have you decided on your readings? 📖
Readings add colour and texture to the ceremony. They can be romantic, funny, poetic or completely unexpected. The readings you choose are entirely up to you, and I can give you guidance and suggestions. Couples usually choose two or three readings.

2. Which enhancements would you like? 🕯
From handfasting to candle lighting, ring warming to a favourite ritual from a shared hobby — enhancements bring meaning and movement to the ceremony. They also make great photos! I can give you some ideas, what they mean and why couples choose them. A candle lighting, ring warming and hand fasting are a popular combination.

3. Would you like to include personal vows? 💍
If you are completing a legal ceremony, there are some legal vows we are obliged to include. In addition, some couples also like to include their own vows which contain a personal meaning and message. You can either write your own, or I can write them for you.

Creating a ceremony for a new little human is such a wonderful adventure 👶 I love helping parents figure out what they want the day to feel like, shape the story, smooth out the practical bits, and make space for joy 👩‍❤️‍👨

Hearing that the ceremony for this couple's son still moves them to tears… well, that’s why I do what I do 🙏

Here is their full review:

"We can only recommend Rebecca to anyone who wants to have a great ceremony and journey to it. Rebecca guided us through the process of finding out what ceremony we want and was allways open for changes even late in the process. The result was a beautiful naming ceremony for our son that still moves me to tears thinking about it. Rebecca has a warm and loving personality and is very efficient and solutions oriented when it comes to any obstacles in the way. You notice the years of experience in her process as she asks all the right questions and just finds the right words. We will definitely book her again. Big thank you."

If you’re dreaming up a naming ceremony that’s warm, personal and beautifully put together, I’d be delighted to guide you through it.

💜 Big thank you to this lovely family from Germany (and Ireland) for trusting me with such a special moment 💜

✍️ Writing your own wedding vows, but haven’t a clue where to start? 💍
Here are my 3 simple tips to help you create something meaningful, memorable, and very you:

1️⃣ What does commitment mean to you?Not the dictionary version — your version. Is it showing up on the busy days? Laughing through the chaos? Choosing each other, even when the going’s tough? Start there.

2️⃣ Think about what is important — now and in your future togetherWhat kind of life are you building? What do you value as a couple? Your vows don’t need to be grand… just honest about what matters to you.

3️⃣ Choose a style and rhythmShort and sweet? Poetic? Funny? A mix of both? Pick a tone that feels natural so you don’t end up sounding like you’re reading what you think you should say.

✨ Bonus tip:Read your vows out loud (to the mirror or best friend - or just the mirror if it’s your best friend!). If you can get through them confidently, you’re on the right track.

Here throughout our ceremony process to support crafting vows that feel personal, stylish and perfectly balanced 🤍 💜

Welcome to the world Baby Knox! 👶 ⭐️ What a wonderful day we had out at Knox’s great aunt’s house in Meenogahane for his baby naming. This beautiful location, last stop before Meenogahane Pier, looked out over the swirling waves of the Atlantic spreading out beneath us 🌊 💚

A truly wild and beautiful introduction for this little soul who travelled with his parents all the way from Germany to meet dad’s extended family in Kerry 🇮🇪🇩🇪

We celebrated with vows and promises from his parents, his guide parents and everyone present — meeting this new addition to the family for the first time.

At the end of the ceremony, we made the request for everyone to sign a memory book and to stick under their message an instant polaroid picture, making a wonderful memory of the occasion for Knox to look back on in the future.

After the ceremony, I discovered this was the family’s first break with a traditional church christening, and they thought the ceremony was incredible, personal and just right for Knox.

A fabulous mix of German and Irish influences, this little blond bundle of joy has already had a unique start in life 💫 👶

The answers to 3 the questions I get asked most often before a ceremony are:

1. The Groom: “Will she turn up?” You KNOW the answer to that one - of course she will! and she always does 💜 The delay can be for many reasons, but usually that the photographer is taking some photos before the bride enters the venue space, or that she needs to nip to the loo - and that can be a bit of a military exercise with dress, flowers and a veil involved 👰‍♀️

2. The Readers: “Will you give me a cue?” YES! I will always let you know when the time is to come up to read. I introduce the reader and the reading as part of the ceremony script 📗

3. The Guests: “Where can we sit, is there a side?” Unless the couple have specified this beforehand, usually it doesn’t matter where guests sit or which side. Seats will most likely be reserved for the bridal party and parents at the front, but other than that feel free to sit where you like! 🥂
