A true American celebration on Independence day for Mr & Mrs Limerick! Who travelled all the way from New Hampshire ๐บ๐ธ to West Cork ๐ฎ๐ช and Blairscove House & Restaurant for their wedding ceremony ๐ฐโโ๏ธ๐๐คต
Joining them were friends and family from the US who were treated to this breathtakingly beautiful corner of south west Ireland.
The bride and groom both made an entrance at the beginning of the ceremony, with the groom leading first followed by his parents and groomsmen, the bridesmaids, and finally the bride escorted by both her parents ๐
Musical accompaniment for the entrance, exit and rituals was by the talented harpist Carys Ann Evans ๐ถ There is nothing like the fairytale ti**le of harp strings ๐ถ
Annaka and Tom chose two candle lightings ๐ฏfor their ceremony: the first by their mothers to symbolise the joining together of their two families and the second by the couple themselves to seal their vows.
They also included a handtying ceremony with a beautiful cord made up of blue, green and gold threads ๐ฟ Blue to represent patience, devotion and sincerity; green for prosperity, luck, health and love; and gold to provide unity, longevity and wisdom.
On each guestโs seat was a small pack of tissues printed with the sentiment โFor Your Happy Tearsโ โ and they were needed! ๐คง
Our ring bearer stole the show: the brideโs 2 year old nephew Cedric ๐ผ
High winds and the threat of rain moved the ceremony inside to Blaircoveโs gorgeous marquee. At the ceremony close, everyone adjourned to the courtyard and the rain held off for a fabulous outdoor champagne reception ๐ฅ
What a lovely, kind couple to work with, so clearly in love โ congratulations Mr & Mrs Limerick! ๐ฐโโ๏ธ๐๐คต
