The eternal joys of repaginating for printing when dealing with sections and alternating headers. You have to keep an eye on the 'link to previous' option and the placement (one side or the other) of the page numbers. There are always knock-on effects for missing a detail, as MS Word presumes an auto-fix and continues your numbering, switching hard margins as it does. This results in blank pages when converting to PDF for output.
