The demand for the Zounds singles has been amazing.... I knew it would be popular, but not this popular....

firstly, its the 5 singles, remastered and pressed on colour vinyl, all in limited editions...

secondly, there are only about 40 copies left of the set of 5 in the slip case, autographed and hand numbered

thirdly, I had several enquiries about buying them individually... so we have now made them available individually too...

For the first time…EVER… these five 7” singles have been remastered from the original digital transfers of the ¼” tapes, artwork recreated from original copies and pressed on coloured vinyl, packaged as a set of 5 in a slip case, hand numbered, signed by Steve Lake and limited to only 150 copies

Formed in Reading inn 1977, Zounds became one of the biggest names in anarcho punk, releasing one of the first few singles on the Crass label. Signing with Rough Trade in 1981 they released a series of iconic singles and the epic album The Curse of Zounds. The bands last release, from this period, was an EP for a Belgian label called la Vache Qui Rite.

From what started as a few solo recordings during the aftermath of lockdown, to a record release, to the formation of a live band selling out their first ever show. Then Rebellion aftershow gigs, an ep appearance, a new record deal with cadiz for the UK, and rave reviews all over the place.... surprisingly, The Molly Vulpyne band has turned into a proper viable act!

Its a huge pleasure for me to play with Molly along with my other friends - the remarkable rhythm section of Tony Carberry and Jay Bagnall and we are recording a debut album in December for F**D / Cadiz and also revisiting the American and European labels who were interested in getting on board with the Amortise ep, but wanted it to be an album instead!

Next gig for the band is with Richard Jobson's incredible band, The Armory Show, a band he formed after the Skids and a band I was a huge fan of, so this is a real thrill for me!
