Ireland 🤝 Canada

At TIFF this year, we were thrilled to celebrate the World Premieres of Irish films Saipan and Whitetail - two Screen Ireland-supported projects in selection at the festival, which has been an incredible platform for Irish film over the years.

Screen Ireland also teamed up with Ontario Creates for a special Ireland x Ontario day of panels and producer networking. The event was introduced by Ireland's Ambassador to Canada, John Concannon, and highlighted Ireland's already strong links with Canada - across culture, history and, of course, storytelling on screen.
