We strive to make quality films and television programmes that deliver for the audience and the broadcaster. ROSG have produced a wide range of films, drama Series, documentaries, and animations, and we have received nominations and awards for our work both at home and abroad. ROSG is currently producing Scéal (Story) with EO Teilifís, which is a training initiative to develop Irish language writers and directors towards a 6 x 25 minute series of single dramas to be broadcast on TG4.

In the recent Lúnasa program broadcast on RTÉ 1, we used dance segments to present the themes of Lúnasa. Ríonach Ní Néill choreographed the segments with Robert Jackson as the dancer. Kate Howard is the costume designer. Here is the complete dance presented as a standalone piece.

I gclár Lúnasa a bhí craolta le deireanaí ar RTÉ 1, bhí míreanna damhsa in úsáid againn le téamaí Lúnasa a chur i láthair. Sí Ríonach Ní Néill a bhí mar chóiréagrafaí agus Robert Jackson mar an rinceoir. Is í Kate Howard an dearthóir feistis. Seo an rince iomlán le chéile mar phíosa ann féin.

Na Féilte Tine, sraith atá fréamhaithe i bhféilte ársa na bliana ar a dtugtar “na ceithre fhéile tras-cheathrú.”

Tugann gach clár léargas ar chasadh na bliana Ceiltí, agus sa chlár deiridh seo fáiltítear roimh fhéile Lúnasa – féile an fhómhair agus tús na haislinge deiridh sa bhféilire Gaelach.

, a series rooted in the ancient “cross-quarter days” that divide the seasons.

Each episode marks a turning in the Celtic year, and this final programme welcomes the festival of Lúnasa – the celebration of the harvest and the beginning of the final arc in the Gaelic calendar.

Poet, playwright, and broadcaster, Vincent Woods grew up on a small farm in County Leitrim in the 1960s and caught a glimpse of the summer rituals.
