We’re very proud to announce that our film In Time, the first ever cinematic portrait of the legendary Dónal Lunny, will premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh on Friday 11 July at 5pm.

A founding member of Planxty, The Bothy Band and Moving Hearts, Dónal Lunny's contribution to Irish music and culture is immeasurable.

In Time reveals a life lived entirely for art’s sake - charting Lunny’s creative and personal journey against the backdrop of seismic cultural, political and historic change in Ireland and beyond. The film fuses music with memory, performance and biography, exploring the deeply human experiences that have shaped one of Ireland’s most enduring artists.

Tickets are available now via galwayfilmfleadh.com! 🎥

Funded by Screen Ireland, Coimisiún na Meán, University College Dublin, and the Creative Futures Academy.

Produced with the support of incentives for the Irish Film Industry provided by the Government of Ireland.

And for our poster - thank you to Rich Gilligan for the imagery and Sarah Moloney for the design.
