It is with immense sadness that we share the news of the passing of Eamon Downes, the creative force behind Liquid—the iconic act that gave the world the timeless anthem "Sweet Harmony".

A true pioneer of the early UK rave and breakbeat scene, Eamon’s music defined an era. Through Liquid, he blended euphoria and energy in a way few could—offering peace, unity, and love through every bassline. His influence on dance music was immeasurable, inspiring generations of DJs, producers, and ravers around the globe.

But beyond the music, Eamon was a kind soul—sharp, passionate, and always authentic. Whether it was in the booth, the studio, or just catching up backstage, he brought warmth and wisdom wherever he went.

He will be sorely missed not just as an artist, but as a friend, a mentor, and a beautiful spirit who lived for the music.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and fans worldwide.
Rest in power, Eamon. Sweet harmony forever.

Ryan started buying records around 1995 mainly Us Garage & Garage Tracks , he eventually started djing around 1997 aged 15 and was on a pirate radio station based in south east London doing a regular and popular show week in and week out...

Then his moniker was Ryan KB, Ryan got his first DJ booking at the age of 16 at a wine bar in South London that was holding Garage nights regularly every Saturday night, even though Ryan was under 18 he performed an hour set and astonished the local promoter with his selection and reading of a crowd at such a young age. Ryan KB as he was known then swiftly moved up the ladder in a thriving Scene between 97 to 2002 in London Garage was a huge scene and Ryan was at the peak of it Djing alongside many international Djs at the very best establishments South UK had to offer...

In 2010 Ryan decided to change his name to Ryan Brasco , the name is from one of his favourite movies which was released in 1997 the way he see’s he was released also in that year so changed his name ... Since the name change his career jumped ten fold and he was balancing between Soulful & Deep House & The Still going strong Garage scene , So one week playing alongside the likes of Joey Negro Then The next week on a lineup with Luck N Neat...

Ryan has an extensive knowledge of music and was brought up listening to Soul, Motown, Reggae, Disco and fully understands how the music journey to House music began this is something he incorporates in his style ... A typical Ryan Brasco Set would be a fusion of Soulful , Deep & Vocal House with maybe a Us Garage Track Or Even Disco House Track Thrown in to keep all his sets completely unique ...
