The Creative Short Form Editing Playbook 💻

I’ve just launched a 65-minute editing workshop where I walk through exactly how I edit my short-form videos in CapCut Desktop. It’s essentially a self-paced version of how I teach inside my 1:1 sessions, showing not just what I’m doing, but why I'm making every individual creative decision.

It’s divided into 4 chapters so you can skip to what you need and come back to it later.
There are English closed captions and a full video transcript. It’s designed to be practical and something you can follow along with while editing your own videos.

I find it hard to set goals for my business.

Last week I sat down and set my personal goals for the year - essentially all of the adventures I want to go on.
Big picture, I know the vibe of what I want to achieve in business, and when I really think about it, the goals are very clearly there in my mind.

But saying them out loud makes them real...

And makes the possibility of not achieving them real as well..

BUT F**K IT! Let’s say them out loud anyway!

When I asked what content you wanted to see from me, I had a couple of questions about what I use to create my content, so here's a whistle stop tour!

Knowing how to plan, film and edit a piece of video content makes much more of a difference than just having the "best" piece of kit. All you really need is a phone with a good enough camera.

The last couple months forced me to slow down in a way I didn’t plan for.

And once I stopped panicking about the numbers, I realised it gave me something I’d been avoiding for a long time… space.
Space to say yes to new projects.
Space to rethink what I actually want my business to look like next year.
Space to grow, instead of just maintain.

A recent trip to Cork to shoot a corporate event was one of those unexpected opportunities that reminded me why I love what I do, and why evolving is a good thing, even when it’s uncomfortable.
