OUT OF THE DARK. A screening of animated films at Haifa's Infra&Ultra Cinema Club.
The title says it all. In these films, Night and Darkness create the space for the action, while Light stands as an idea and symbol.
In the programme:
Films by Dmitry Geller and Anastasia Melikhova, part of the Sverdlovsk animation school (Yekaterinburg).
A slow, non-narrative film by South Korean director and artist Ho Hyunjun, shown at the 58th Ann Arbor Film Festival, CINANIMA, ANIMAZE.
A rare chance to see films, most of which you won't find online. This screening, like all our Film Club events, takes place with the filmmakers' permission.
After the screening, we'll have a chat.
