ساهمت حيفا - ومعها يافا، كمدينتين فلسطينيتين منفتحتين في تطوير قدرات مواطنيها وتكوين شرائح ونخب مثقفة ومتعلمة لعبت دورًا في قيادة مشاريع سياسية واقتصادية واجتماعية داخل المدينتين وخارجها. حيفا مدينة كوسموبوليتية (عالمية) بيدها مفاتيح الحفاظ على موروثها الثقافي ومنفتحة أمام أفكار معاصرة ومتقدمة وافدة عليها من الغرب..
