Some days you'll wake up ready to run the race with endurance, feeling the Lord's strength in you. Other days you'll celebrate the fact that you made it through the day with God's grace, maybe just making it to your quiet time or sharing a kind word with someone. Both are valid in God's eyes. Both are worth being proud of in His perspective. You are not a machine, but a child of God with emotions, seasons, and moments of weakness. Yet, you're still showing up before Him, still seeking His face, still trusting in His goodness. That's worth everything, and He delights in your every step of faith.

You'll get there. One day, you'll wake up and feel the weight of worry lifting, replaced by the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Your mind will be clearer, illuminated by God's truth, no longer clouded by doubt and fear.
You'll start noticing the small things the warmth of God's presence, the comfort of His promises, the way joy comes more easily.
Your soul will change too. The tension that once gripped your heart will ease, and the restlessness that kept you up at night will soften as you rest in His love.
You'll feel less pain, both the kind you can name and the kind you can't, as God works healing in you. Slowly, you'll start being comfortable in your identity in Christ, moving through the world with a quiet confidence rooted in Him. The tough days won't disappear, but you'll navigate them differently steadier, stronger, with the wisdom of someone who has learned to trust in God's goodness. Even if today doesn’t reflect that reality, trust that it's coming. Healing and growth happen in the quiet moments, in the small decisions, in the way you keep showing up before God, trusting Him one step at a time.

Sometimes I have to remind myself to choose my battles, guided by God's wisdom.

I choose respect over love, because love without respect slowly breaks the temple of God within me.
I choose peace over drama, because my heart longs for the peace that surpasses all understanding, rooted in Christ.
I choose distance over disrespect, because I'd rather sit in the quiet of God's presence than be surrounded by people who make me feel small. And above all,
I choose my self-respect and worth in Christ over anxious attachment, because I've learned that love should feel like being wrapped in God's love, not like a storm I have to survive every day.

It took me a long time to understand that I'm not asking for too much; I'm asking for the kind of love that reflects God's love love that heals more than it hurts. If I cannot find that fully in someone else, I'll find it in abiding in God's love for me.

"One of the risks of being still before God is that others may fill your silence with their own assumptions: You're disconnected, you're struggling, or you're distant from Him. But in the quiet, God knows the truth of our hearts, and His interpretation is the one that truly matters."

You'll get there. One day, you'll wake up and feel the weight of worry lifting, replaced by the peace that surpasses understanding. Your mind will be clearer, no longer clouded by doubt and fear, but illuminated by the light of God's truth. You'll start noticing the small things the warmth of His presence, the comfort of His promises, the way joy comes a little easier. Your soul will change too.

The tension that once gripped your heart will ease, and the restlessness that kept you up at night will soften as you rest in His love. You'll feel less pain, both the kind you can name and the kind you can't, as you learn to trust in His goodness. Slowly, you'll start being comfortable in your walk with Him, moving through life with a quiet confidence that comes from knowing He's in control.

The tough days won't disappear, but you'll navigate them differently steadier, stronger, with the wisdom of someone who has learned to trust in His sovereignty. Even if today doesn't reflect that reality, trust that He's working. Healing isn't always loud or obvious, but it happens in the quiet moments, in the small decisions, in the way you keep showing up before Him.

One step of faith at a time, even when it feels slow, He's guiding you toward wholeness.

"I'm not one to easily forget how someone's actions hurt me, especially when they disregarded my worth and disrespected me. Though I once extended kindness and grace, repeatedly giving chances, it's clear some people don't value these gestures. Now, instead of pretending nothing's wrong, I'm choosing to set boundaries, guard my heart, and prioritize self-care, guided by Philippians 4:13, 'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' I'm learning to discern who deserves my love and trust, and I'm not willing to compromise my well-being for anyone."

Sometimes, we must choose our healing and prioritize our own hearts, no matter how hard we want to hold on. When we pour our love into someone who doesn't reciprocate, it's time to walk away and find closure in God. We deserve to be loved by someone who sees our worth and values us as a precious child of God.

Scripture reminds us that our worth comes from Him, not from someone else's validation. If love is genuine, it uplifts and honors us, it doesn't diminish our voice or make us feel like we're too much. Let's stop running towards dead ends and instead run towards the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, who loves us unconditionally and desires a relationship with us.
