Our fundamental values are the three principles of Zionism, as outlined by Zeev Jabotinsky: immigration, the protection of our homeland, and the settlement of the Jewish people in the land of Israel. We support our army (IDF) and law enforcement officers working to eradicat

e Palestinian terrorism and fighting crime to ensure Israelis' personal safety. We believe Jerusalem is the indisputable capital of Israel and that ALL Israeli citizens, including Israeli Arabs, should be loyal to the State of Israel. We support Olim (new immigrants to Israel), especially those from the former Soviet Union. We believe that the expansion of the representation of Russian-speaking Jews in the World Zionist Congress will strengthen their positions and allow them to influence the future of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.

Saturday is beginning — a time when Jews around the world slow down and allow themselves to breathe out.

But this Shabbat is unlike any other. It is the seventh day of the operation Israel is carrying out to protect its security and prevent a nuclear threat from Iran.

As we prepare to light the candles, the enemy continues to launch rockets and spread fear among civilians. Yet despite this, we do not lose faith or strength of spirit.

We remember and thank our soldiers, who continue the fight - not for land, but for lives, for the safety of millions.

We pray for the 59 hostages still held captive by Hamas. And we will not stop until we bring them all back. Without exception. Home.

Tonight, as we light the Shabbat candles, we will remember those who are no longer with us, support those who are fighting, and wait for those who have yet to return.

The people of Israel are strong and unbroken. We live, we hope, and we do not give up.

Shabbat Shalom. 💙

For the fourth day in a row, Israel is under heavy attack from Iran. Hundreds of rockets and drones have been launched.

24 people killed. Nearly 600 wounded - including children and the elderly.

While the IDF targets military and nuclear sites in an effort to prevent a greater catastrophe, Iran strikes under the cover of night aiming for homes, schools, and civilian infrastructure.

This is not a symmetrical conflict. Not defense, but terror. It’s an assault on the very right of the Jewish state to exist, and another attempt to wipe us off the map.

Yes, these are difficult days. But Israel must see this through to ensure its citizens the right to a peaceful and secure life. Not temporarily - but forever. 🇮🇱

24 погибших. Почти 600 раненых. Среди них - дети и старики.

Пока ЦАХАЛ бьёт по военным и ядерным объектам, стараясь предотвратить худшее, Иран под покровом ночи целится в дома мирных жителей, школы и гражданскую инфраструктуру.

Today, June 13, 2025, Israel launched Operation "Am Ke-Levi" — "A Nation Like a Lion." Not by choice — but out of necessity.

When direct threats to our existence are made, when nuclear weapons become a real danger — we have no right to remain silent or to wait. This is a response to the desire to destroy us.

The name of the operation is no coincidence. It comes from the Torah — a prophecy that has become our image and essence:
"הֶן־עָם כְּלָבִיא יָקוּם וְכַאֲרִי יִתְנַשָּׂא"
“Behold, a people rises like a young lion, and like a lion, it lifts itself up…”
(Bemidbar 23:24)

We rise to protect ourselves, to defend our right to live. This is not only a fight for security — it is a fight for the future, for our children, for our home.

Challenging days lie ahead. But we believe in our army. We believe in our truth. We believe in our strength. And we move forward with confidence, light, and hope.

We pray for peace — and we stand with those who protect us. 🕊️🇮🇱

Today, Israel recovered the bodies of hostages Judy Weinstein (70 years old) and Gadi Haggai (73 years old). They were kidnapped and murdered by Hamas on October 7 in Kibbutz Nir Oz.

Judy and Gadi were a married couple, parents of four, who dedicated their lives to family and helping others. That morning, as they walked through their peaceful kibbutz, they couldn’t have known they were witnessing their last sunrise.

We mourn together with their loved ones. Their loss is an unimaginable tragedy for all of us.

May their memory be a blessing. 🕯️

Today, May 29, 2025, we were heartbroken to learn about the death of infant Ravid Haim — a child born after his mother, Tzeela Gez, was murdered by a terrorist on her way to the hospital to give birth.

On the same day, over 300 British celebrities — including Benedict Cumberbatch, Dua Lipa, and Tilda Swinton — signed an open letter demanding that the UK stop supplying weapons to Israel and instead support the people of Gaza.

When the murder of Jews becomes mere “background noise,” and influential voices choose silence — we cannot stay silent.

This is exactly what our Hasbara course by “World Israel Beytenu” was about: the importance of being a voice when others choose to look away. Hasbara isn’t just about politics — it’s about people, about memory, and about the future.

The memory of every Jew lost compels us to keep fighting for truth and justice.

Last night, on May 21, a horrific terrorist attack occurred in Washington, D.C.

Yaron Lishchinsky and Sarah Milgrim — Israeli citizens and embassy staff members — were shot and killed outside the Jewish Museum.

They were a couple. They had plans for the future and were about to get engaged in Israel.
They were murdered simply because they were Jewish.

For us, a nation that has lived under the shadow of terrorism since the day of its founding — this is especially painful. We know all too well what it means to lose loved ones to hatred.

Our deepest condolences to the families of Yaron and Sarah, their friends, and everyone who mourns with us today.

May their memory be a blessing. 🕯

A Zionist, teacher, and writer, Shazar came into politics from the world of culture and ideas. He believed that the revival of the Jewish people was impossible without education, memory, and a connection to tradition.

He represented an Israeli identity that sought balance — between tradition and modernity, between faith and democracy. He bridged East and West, history and the present, proving that spiritual and cultural values can be a source of strength for the state.

An active participant in the Zionist movement, Shazar was elected president in 1963 and re-elected for a second term in 1968. His time in office reminds us that national identity is shaped not only by laws and borders, but by meaning.

Shazar’s election marked a moment when spirit became a public office. Israel chose a leader who understood that Zionism is not only a struggle for land, but also for the soul of the people.

Because Israel is not just a place on the map. It is an idea — built by those who believe in it.
