A serious incident during an IDF attack in the northern Gaza Strip: Three armored fighters from the 52nd Battalion of the 401st Brigade were killed today (Monday) at noon in Jabaliya, apparently by anti-tank fire at a tank. The fallen are Sergeant Shoham Menachem, 21, from Moshav Yardena, Sergeant Shlomo Yakir Shram, 20, from Efrat, and Sergeant Yuli Factor, 19, from Rishon LeZion. In the same incident, an armored officer was seriously injured, who was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Last week, 3 more fighters fell in battle:
Avraham Azulai, 25, who fought and was killed after an attempted kidnapping.
Rei Biran, 21, who fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

Also today in Gaza, the IDF and Shin Bet killed Muhammad Kanita, who raided Israeli territory on October 7 and held hostage Emily Damaris at the beginning of the war.

A Syrian activist who paid a rare visit to the Knesset Wednesday said new Syrian president Ahmed al-Sharaa had called the movement toward forging peace with Israel a once-in-a-century opportunity, but worried the chance could slip away.
Businessman and political activist Shadi Martini recalled his meeting with Sharaa while speaking at the inaugural conference of a Knesset lobby aimed at advancing a regional security arrangement, attending alongside Saudi journalist Abdulaziz Alkhamis.

The two attended the meeting of the Lobby for Advancing a Regional Security Arrangement against the backdrop of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Washington and public optimism about potentially expanding the Abraham Accords normalization agreements. The lobby was jointly founded by opposition MKs Ram Ben Barak, Gilad Kariv and Alon Schuster.

The two terrorists who perpetrated the attack were eliminated at the scene by security forces.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the two terrorists arrived at the compound armed with knives and attacked an Israeli security guard. They stabbed him in the upper body and a Magen David Adom team tried to save his life. MDA Director General Eli Bin said the guard was also shot in the upper body.

The IDF cleared for publication on Tuesday morning that five soldiers from the Netzah Yehuda Battalion were killed, and 14 others were injured, two of them seriously, when an explosive device detonated in the Beit Hanoun area in northern Gaza.

The soldiers are: Staff Sergeant Meir Shimon Amar, aged 20, from Jerusalem, Sergeant Moshe Nissim Frech, aged 20, from Jerusalem, Sergeant First Class (res.) Benyamin Asulin, aged 28, from Haifa, Staff Sergeant Noam Aharon Musgadian, aged 20, from Jerusalem, and Staff Sergeant Moshe Shmuel Noll, aged 21, from Beit Shemesh.

Israel carried out extensive strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen overnight between Sunday and Monday, shortly after it issued evacuation orders for several areas of the country. Hours later, the Houthis launched two ballistic missiles at Israel.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed early Monday morning that its airstrikes carried out by some 20 fighter jets had targeted multiple Houthi targets in Yemen, including the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Isa and Salif, and the Ras Khatib power station.
According to the military, all the targets hit in the overnight strikes were used by the Iran-backed Houthi regime to transfer weapons and conduct terror activity against Israel and global shipping.
The IDF said the strikes came in response to repeated Houthi missile and drone attacks on Israeli territory and highlighted the group’s ongoing use of civilian infrastructure for military purposes.

Hours after the airstrikes, the Houthis fired two ballistic missiles at Israel, setting off sirens in several southern West Bank towns.

June 6, 2025: Four soldiers killed in a building explosion near Khan Yunis
Major (res.) Chen Gross (33), a soldier in the Maglan unit of the commando formation, and three soldiers in the Yahalam unit, Sergeant Yoav Rever (19), Sergeant Tom Rothstein (23) and Sergeant Uri Yehonatan Cohen (20), were killed in a building collapse caused by a powerful explosion of an explosive device in Bnei Suheila, near Khan Yunis. An IDF spokesman authorized publication this morning (Wednesday) that an officer and six fighters were killed yesterday in an explosion in an engineering armored personnel carrier in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, after an explosive device was attached to the armored personnel carrier.

Terrorists attached an explosive device to an outdated “Puma” engineering armored personnel carrier and fled. As a result, the armored vehicle was completely burned down.

This morning, the names of six of the fallen were released - Lieutenant Matan Shai Yashinovsky, 21, from Kfar Yona, Sergeant Ronal Ben-Moshe, 20, from Rehovot, Sergeant Niv Radie, 20, from Alikin, Sergeant Ronen Shapiro, 19, from Mazkeret Batya, Sergeant Shahar Manoav, 21, from Ashkelon, and Sergeant Maayan Baruch Perlstein, 20, from Ashkharah - all fighters in the 605th Engineering Battalion. The name of another fallen soldier has not yet been released.

Trump announced in a tweet that a ceasefire had been reached between Israel and Iran as of 7:00 - but the Iranian barrages continued even after this time.

The IDF says that since this morning, about 15 missiles have been fired from Iran - and that most of them were intercepted.

MDA reported that the Iranian missile strike in Beersheba killed four people and injured 22 others. Heavy destruction was caused as a result of a direct hit on a high-rise building from which rescue workers worked for many hours to rescue trapped people.

Permission granted for publication: Bodies of kidnapped martyrs Ofra Kedar, Shai Levinson and Yonatan Samrano have been recovered and returned to Israel.
The 3 bodies were rescued from Gaza in a nighttime operation by the IDF and Shin Bet.

After the bodies were identified, messages were delivered to the families of the three. There are still 50 abductees remaining in the Gaza Strip, at least 20 of whom are believed to be alive.

In the past week, 4 soldiers killed during the fighting in Gaza:
Noam Shemesh, 21, from Jerusalem, was killed on June 14 in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Tal Movshovitz, 28, from Reut, and Neve Leshem, 20, from Nokdim, were killed on June 16 in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Stav Halfon, 20, from Petah Tikva, fell on June 18, in combat in the southern Gaza Strip.

A few hours later, alarms sounded in Israel following a barrage of about 30 ballistic missiles. As a result, scenes were observed in Tel Aviv, Ness Ziona and Haifa. Several buildings were almost completely destroyed. 16 injured, most of them lightly.
