Opinion Tandoor’s Story
Started as a small intra-college print magazine, Opinion Tandoor has now developed as an online news and views portal which attempts to bring out stories in both Hindi and English on culture, society, politics, economics and history like any old fashioned magazine. Based in Agra many of its stories are from around here as it tries to fill a space for news and analysis based media in this city and around. However, the site is not limited to the city and brings out stories from all over in one place. The future plan for Opinion Tandoor include launching a full-fledged magazine in print and digital formats. The most important support that is required for achieving that goal is in form of advertisements and contribution in form of submissions from those interested in writing (who will be paid a small amount for their contribution).
एक छोटी सी कॉलेज के स्तर की प्रिंट मैगज़ीन के रूप में शुरु हुआ ओपिनियन तंदूर का सफर अब एक ऑनलाइन समाचार और विमर्श के लिए ऑनलाइन पोर्टल के रूप में तैयार होकर यहाँ तक पहुँचा है जो संस्कृति, कला, समाज, साहित्य, राजनीति, अर्थ और इतिहास सभी मुद्दों पर लेख प्रस्तुत करने का प्रयास करती है किसी खालिस मैगज़ीन की तरह। आगरा में स्थित होने के कारण इस साइट के अधिकतर लेख यहाँ पर आधारित होते हैं जिसके माध्यम से इस शहर में समाचार और विमर्श पर आधारित मीडिया की रिक्तता को पूरा करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। पर फिर भी इस साइट का केन्द्र सिर्फ यह शहर नहीं है बल्कि हर जगह से महत्वपूर्ण कहानियाँ और विचार एक जगह पर लाने इसका उद्देश्य है। आगे के लिए ओपिनियन तंदूर को एक प्रिंट और डिजिटल प्रारूप में मैगज़ीन के रूप में प्रकाशित करने का उद्देश्य है जिसके लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण संसाधन विज्ञापन तो हैं ही पर साथ ही लिखने के इच्छुक लोगों के लेखों की भी आवश्यकता है (जिसके लिए एक छोटे मूल्य का भी प्रावधान है।)
