AGRA NEEDS CHANGE ⚠️🚨

After experiencing a power cut of nearly 24 hours in our area due to heavy rain and thunderstorms,
I felt the need to share my thoughts as a concerned citizen.

This is not a complaint against any individual or department. It is simply a humble request and suggestion to the Government and concerned authorities to consider gradually replacing overhead electricity lines and electric poles with underground electricity supply systems in densely populated urban areas.

Every year, during storms, heavy rainfall, strong winds, or other weather-related events, overhead power lines become vulnerable to damage. Fallen trees, broken poles, and snapped wires often lead to long power outages, causing inconvenience to thousands of families, students, businesses, hospitals, and essential services.

Underground electricity networks can help reduce weather-related disruptions, improve public safety, enhance the city's appearance, and create a more reliable power infrastructure for the future.
While such projects require significant investment and careful planning, they can be implemented in phases, starting with major roads, commercial zones, and high-density residential areas.

Cities across India are modernizing their infrastructure, and Agra—one of India's most important historical and tourism destinations—also deserves world-class civic facilities. Reliable electricity is not a luxury; it is a necessity for education, work, healthcare, communication, and everyday life.

This post is not about criticism. It is about encouraging discussion and highlighting a possible long-term solution that could benefit lakhs of residents in the years ahead.

I sincerely hope the concerned authorities consider infrastructure upgrades that make our city more resilient to extreme weather conditions and reduce the chances of prolonged power outages in the future.

Agra needs change.
Agra needs modernization.
Agra needs a stronger and more reliable electricity network. ⚡

🚧 Shamshabaad Road ki Haalat ab sirf inconvenience nahi, ek serious public safety issue ban chuki hai.

Kai saalo se yeh important road badhaali ka shikaar hai jahan roz hazaaro logon ka aana-jaana hota hai. Gaddho se bhari sadak, khuli naaliyan aur sewer lines na sirf traffic ko dangerous bana rahi hain balki public health ke liye bhi bada khatra ban chuki hain.

Har baar bas promises milte hain…
“Kaam jaldi shuru hoga”
“Road banne wali hai”
Lekin ground reality aaj bhi wahi ki wahi hai.
Agra ki public ko ab sirf assurances nahi, ACTION chahiye. 🙏🏼

Concerned authorities se request hai ki iss issue ko priority par liya jaye aur Shamshabaad Road ka kaam jald se jald poora karwaya jaye.

Safe roads har citizen ka basic right hai.
