🔥 ASHNEER GROVER GOT A BLUNT REPLY FROM PHONEPE CEO!

Ashneer Grover questioned the new UPI MDR framework and called the move “tax collection,” arguing that RBI/NPCI surplus should instead be used to subsidise UPI.

But PhonePe CEO & Co-founder Sameer Nigam had a very different response.

👉 “I don’t take critics like Ashneer Grover seriously.”

Nigam defended the new framework, pointing out that around 96% of UPI transactions will remain free, with the MDR applying only to selected higher-value merchant transactions above ₹2,000. He also argued that a sustainable commercial model is needed to keep investing in India’s massive digital-payment ecosystem.

The debate is bigger than one person.

UPI became a global symbol of India’s digital transformation—but maintaining an ecosystem operating at this scale also has real infrastructure and operating costs.

34 years ago, young Shri stood in the heart of the Valley, at a time when reaching Lal Chowk itself meant navigating extraordinary security challenges.

The Ekta Yatra, led by then BJP president Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, travelled from Kanyakumari to Srinagar with a message of national unity. On 26 January 1992, it culminated in the hoisting of the Tricolour at Lal Chowk. Then a young BJP organiser, Shri Modi played a key role in organising the Yatra and stood alongside Dr. Joshi at this historic moment.

Amid curfew, tight security and militant threats, the Tricolour rose over Lal Chowk.

A moment of resolve. A journey of courage. A young organiser witnessing a moment that would remain etched in India’s political history.

34 years later, the photograph remains a reminder of a journey that began with a sankalp for national unity.

From a young organiser to a leader of the nation, the journey continues.

On PM Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, US President Donald Trump personally called him and wished him a Happy Birthday, calling Modi “my friend.”

But there was another important message from Trump.

🇺🇸 Trump thanked Prime Minister Modi for his support toward efforts to end the Russia–Ukraine war.

Trump also said after their conversation that Modi was “doing a tremendous job.”

PM Modi responded by thanking Trump for his warm birthday greetings and the phone call.

🇮🇳🤝🇺🇸 A birthday call. A message of friendship. And recognition of India’s diplomatic efforts.

India has consistently advocated dialogue and diplomacy as the way forward in resolving the Ukraine conflict, while maintaining relationships with multiple sides.

And now, on Modi Ji’s birthday, the US President himself acknowledged India’s support for efforts aimed at bringing the Russia–Ukraine war toward an end.

Dr. Muzafar Ahmad Rather — a pediatrician who has been named by the NIA in its investigation into the November 2025 Red Fort blast conspiracy.

According to the NIA’s supplementary chargesheet, Rather was allegedly one of the principal architects of the conspiracy and a founding member of the alleged “AGuH Interim” faction. The agency has also alleged that he was involved in the manufacture, testing and storage of explosives/IEDs and coordinated with other accused members of the alleged terror module.

The NIA has described him as absconding, while the investigation has linked the alleged conspiracy to the deadly Red Fort vehicle-borne IED attack in which 11 people were killed.

A medical profession is built on trust and the protection of human life. If these allegations are proved in court, the people responsible must face the full force of the law.

No ideology, political cause or personal grievance can justify terrorism or the killing of innocent civilians.

NO DEMOCRACY UNDER CONGRESS RULE?

When a government places restrictions around Ganesh celebrations and religious processions, every citizen has the right to ask:

Is this really democracy?
Is this equal treatment?
Why should Hindus feel that their religious rights are being restricted?

Democracy is not just about elections.
Democracy means freedom of religion, equality before the law, and the right to celebrate one’s faith peacefully.

Karnataka deserves a government that respects every religion equally and does not allow political power to become a tool for selective restrictions.

Hindus deserve dignity.
Devotees deserve freedom.
Karnataka deserves true democracy.
