Historical mentions include this village being a seat for local jamindars before being taken over by the state of Bikaner.

स्कूल के ऑटो ड्राइवर ने आठवीं कक्षा की बच्ची के साथ गलत करने का प्रयास किया तब लड़की ने कंपास निकाल कर उस पर हमला कर दिया और चलते ऑटो में से कूद गई। घटना बिहार के पटना जिले की है जहां पर आठवीं कक्षा की यह स्टूडेंट बिल्कुल घबराई नहीं बल्कि उसने दिमाग से काम लिया और वह क्लास चली गई। वापस जाने के क्रम में उसने अपने पिता और भाइयों को बुलाकर अब स्कूल के उस ऑटो ड्राइवर के खिलाफ रिपोर्ट में दर्ज करवाई है।
