Some days don’t break you loudly.
They just sit on your chest… quietly.

The house gets silent,
everything is finally done,
and yet you don’t feel at rest.

You feel… full.
Of thoughts. Of exhaustion. Of everything you didn’t say all day.

And in that moment,
you don’t need advice.
You don’t need solutions.

You just need… your mom.

Not because she’ll fix it,
but because somehow,
she makes it feel lighter just by being there.
It’s strange how life comes full circle.
How you become the one holding everything together and still find yourself needing the same voice
that once held you.

And maybe that’s what motherhood really is…

Carrying more than anyone sees,
so your child never has to feel the weight of it.

And one day,
they’ll understand too.

“She’s so moody.”

What people don’t realize is this:

The longer a woman loves you,
the safer she feels.
And the safer she feels,
the more of herself you’ll see.

Her softness.
Her overthinking.
Her clingy moments.
Her sudden silence.
Her need for reassurance.

Not because she’s “too much.”
But because she finally trusts you enough
to stop pretending she’s unbothered.

When a woman loves deeply,
her emotions aren’t random.
They’re signals.

She isn’t asking for perfection.
She’s asking for presence.
For consistency.
For emotional safety.

And if her need for connection feels exhausting to you,
it may not be that she’s too emotional
it may be that you’re not ready for that depth.

Because real love isn’t always calm.
Sometimes it’s vulnerable.
Sometimes it’s loud.
Sometimes it just wants to feel chosen.

And that kind of love?
It’s not weakness.
It’s investment.

Some friendships don’t survive on daily texts or weekend plans…

They survive on something quieter. The certainty that no matter how much time passes, if I truly needed her, she’d come. That’s never once been in question.

We’ve missed each other’s milestones. Changed cities, changed lives, become entirely different people than we were when this started. And somehow… it’s never mattered.

Happy Friendship Day to the ones who feel like home, no matter the distance. 🤍

I used to believe love meant giving endless chances, no matter how many times someone crossed the line…

But some doors, once closed, are closed for a reason. An apology can soften a moment. It can’t undo what it cost you to keep forgiving.

I’m not bitter about it. I’m just done pretending “sorry” fixes everything.

Some things you protect by never opening the door again. 🌿

I think one of the most heartfelt experiences in life is discovering that someone genuinely enjoys your presence.

Not what you provide.
Not your accomplishments.
Not how useful you are or how well you’re holding it all together.

Just you.
Your thoughts, half-formed and rambling.
Your energy, even on the days it’s quiet.
Your existence with nothing to prove and nothing to perform.

It’s such a rare feeling, because so much of life teaches us the opposite.
We learn to earn love through output.
Through being helpful, agreeable, impressive.

So when someone looks at you and simply enjoys being near you no conditions, no checklist it feels almost unfamiliar.

But that’s what real connection is supposed to feel like.
Not being valued for what you do.
Being wanted for who you are.
