*Punjab National Bank, Circle Office Amritsar*, successfully organized a Mega *MSME Outreach Program* on *25th July 2025*, with events conducted at multiple locations across Amritsar Circle, under the inspiring leadership of *Shri Sanjay Varshneya ji,* Chief General Manager and *Shri Amritabh Anand*, Zonal Manager, ZO Amritsar, also graced the occasion.
In his keynote address, CGM Shri Sanjay Varshneya emphasized the importance of *knowledge enhancement* and effective two-way communication across all levels of the organization. He underscored that *directions, strategies, and guidelines from the Head Office must reach the ground level* efficiently, while equally, field-level feedback, suggestions, and challenges must be communicated upward to the top management. He also highlighted the *significance of the MSME sector* in driving the nation’s economy.
As part of the outreach initiative, CGM Sir visited the *DIC Office, Focal Point*, Amritsar, where he interacted with key stakeholders, including:

During this interaction, he elaborated on various MSME schemes, and sanction letters were handed over to eligible borrowers.

Total Leads Generated: 170
Lead Amount: ₹ 248.64 Crores
Apart from above, RAM & MCC have sanctioned 13 loans amounting Rs. 8.00 crores and inprincipal sanctions of amounting Rs.66.70 crores were distributed by CGM sir.
Subsequent to the central program, CGM Sir visited some Bucket-1 branches, where he assessed infrastructure, branch ambience, and staff engagement.
The day concluded with one-on-one meetings with three esteemed MSME clients, wherein potential business expansions and credit requirements were discussed.
Throughout the day’s events, CGM Shri Sanjay Varshneya, accompanied by ZM Shri Amritabh Anand, engaged with entrepreneurs, traders, industrial clients, and members of business associations. Attendees shared valuable feedback, making the program highly collaborative and insightful.
These impactful interactions reaffirmed PNB’s commitment to customer-centric service, frontline empowerment, and digitally driven inclusive growth, especially in the MSME segment.
