Description:
This project aims to develop a smart safety wristband for girls that provides real-time location tracking and an instant emergency alert system. The wristband is built around an ESP32 microcontroller, integrated with GPS and GSM modules to ensure reliable communication and location services.
When the wearer feels threatened or unsafe, pressing the emergency button on the wristband immediately sends an SOS alert message along with live GPS coordinates to pre-registered emergency contacts or authorities via SMS or cloud platforms. The device can also support features like buzzer alarms, vibration notifications, or cloud-based tracking for added security.
The wristband is designed to be lightweight, discreet, and cost-effective, making it a practical safety accessory for women and girls. Its IoT-based system ensures fast response, low power consumption, and the possibility of integration with mobile apps for advanced monitoring and analytics.
