Kulgam Police Organizes Seminar on Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at GHSS Devsar

Kulgam, July 18:As part of its ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse, Kulgam Police on Friday organized a Seminar-cum-Awareness Programme under the banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Devsar.
The event was held on the directions of SSP Kulgam, Shri Sahil Sarangal (IPS), and was chaired by DySP Dr. Mohd Ayoob along with SHO Devsar Sandeep Sharma. The programme witnessed active participation from the teaching faculty and a large number of students from the host institution.
The seminar included a debate session where students vocally highlighted the devastating impact of drug addiction on individuals, families, and society. They also stressed the need for collective action, especially from youth, in creating a drug-free future.
In their addresses, the chairing officers emphasized the shared responsibility of law enforcement agencies and the local community in curbing the drug menace. They urged students to become ambassadors of change by spreading awareness and resisting peer pressure related to substance abuse.
At the conclusion of the event, meritorious participants were felicitated with cash prizes, mementos, and certificates of participation in recognition of their efforts and engagement in the programme.
