Three-Day BLO Training on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Concludes Successfully at GDC Kokernag
Kokernag, July 17, 2025 –
In accordance with the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Anantnag (DEO-Anantnag) and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kokernag (ERO-Kokernag), a three-day special training program was successfully conducted for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of Assembly Constituency 42-Kokernag ST.
The training, part of the preparations for the upcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive initiated by the Government in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, was held at Government Degree College, Kokernag from 15th to 17th July 2025.
This comprehensive training program aimed to equip BLOs with the necessary knowledge and tools for effective ex*****on of SIR activities, ensuring accuracy and inclusiveness in the electoral rolls. The sessions covered essential aspects including field verification, voter facilitation, use of the BLO App, and ECI guidelines.
The program concluded today with an enthusiastic participation of BLOs, and was marked by its organized implementation and collaborative spirit. The presence and guidance of senior officials, including the ERO and master trainers, added great value to the learning process.
This initiative marks a crucial step in strengthening electoral processes and ensuring smooth and transparent voter list revision in the district.
