We strongly condemn the inappropriate remarks made against the respected Zakir-e-Ahlul Bayt, Janab Anees Sahib, during yesterday’s Majlis-e-Aza.
Majalis of Imam Hussain (A.S) are meant to promote unity, sincerity, and the remembrance of the Ahlul Bayt (A.S) — not to insult or ridicule those who serve in spreading their message.
It is deeply unfortunate that Zakir Anees Sahib was criticized for stating:
"Majlis-e-Hussain (A.S) is not a place for feasting; even water is sufficient for a sincere mourner."
This statement is a powerful reminder of the simplicity, sacrifice, and spiritual depth associated with Azadari. Misinterpreting it and presenting it negatively is both inappropriate and short-sighted.
We not only deem this behavior unethical but also consider it an affront to the sanctity of the Majlis-e-Hussain (A.S).
We urge all organizers and responsible individuals to ensure that such divisive behavior is prevented in future gatherings, and that the sanctity and spiritual atmosphere of Azadari are preserved.
"It is our collective responsibility to safeguard the purity of Hussaini remembrance."
