The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at over 35 locations in Mumbai and Delhi in connection with a ₹3,000 crore alleged bank loan fraud involving Anil Ambani group companies and Yes Bank. The searches span 50 companies and 25 individuals under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). ED sources say funds were allegedly diverted from Yes Bank loans between 2017 and 2019, with serious violations including back-dated approvals and bribes. The case is based on FIRs filed by the CBI and findings from regulators like SEBI, NHB, NFRA, and Bank of Baroda.

Al-Qaeda cell busted, 4 terror suspects arrested from 3 cities; had links to Pak

The Gujarat Police's Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Wednesday arrested four terror suspects allegedly linked to the terror group Al-Qaeda. They were tasked with carrying out attacks at high-profile locations acros India.

Aged between 20 and 25, the four terror suspects — who were reportedly assigned major targets — were arrested from Gujarat, Delhi, and Noida in Uttar Pradesh.

While two were caught in Gujarat, the rest were arrested in Delhi and Noida respectively.
