An Western Disturbance is currently near Pakistan and very close to J&K. Its effect will start towards Evening . Initially, Jammu will be affected first , followed by Kashmir, then Central and North Kashmir

▪️A Western Disturbance (WD) of moderate intensity is expected to affect J&K late tonight. This WD will bring widespread moderate to isolated heavy precipitation in many areas. The main impacted areas will be Jammu and South Kashmir, especially Shopian and Kulgam.

▪️There are also chances of light snowfall in some plain areas, with maximum chances in Shopian and Kulgam plains. Other areas will experience mainly mixed-type precipitation. Higher reaches will receive good snowfall, with some areas receiving up to 1 foot or slightly more.

▪️Improvement is expected by the morning of February 21, followed by dry conditions until the forenoon of February 24.
▪️Another Western disturbance looks Storm.
