The Mysterious Case of the Disappearing Socks"

So last Sunday, I decided to finally do my laundry after pretending my clothes were just “air-drying” on the floor for a week.

Everything was going fine—socks in, detergent in, dignity slightly intact. But when I went to switch everything to the dryer, I noticed something horrifying...

Only one sock from every pair had survived.

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Classic dryer monster.” But no, I live alone. There’s no monster—unless my cat has been moonlighting as a sock thief.

I searched everywhere. Inside the washer. Behind the washer. In my shoes. Even in the fridge (I was hungry and confused).

And just as I gave up and accepted that I would live the rest of my life in mismatched shame, I found them. All of them.

In my hoodie sleeve.

Apparently, I had turned it into a temporary sock hostel without even knowing.

So now my socks are reunited, I’ve forgiven my hoodie, and I’ve updated my Facebook status to:
"Survived another laundry crisis. Barely. Send snacks.
