📍Sthirman Ganesh Temple, Ujjain

The place where Shri Ram found his peace -Sthir(concentration or constant) +man (mind) means concentrated mind.

Truely defines the peace that you will get here , and if you are starting to explore Ujjain . Start with Bappa because according to Hindu rituals everything begins with Bappa.

If you haven’t planned where to go this Ganesh Chaturthi you can visit Ujjain , get the blessing from Mahakaal and then Visit this place of Bappa.

Ujjain has one more Ganesh temple the Chintaman Ganesh temple however I was not able to visit there due to some minister visit but you can add it your plans when you visit Ujjain .

Jai Shri Mahakaal.

Keep travelling and join to explore Ujjain with me ✌️

📍Chaubis Khamba Mata Mandir- From the Pahari Alleys of Mahakaal Temple

This place really quite close to Mahakaal Temple in Ujjain, just 300m .

You can reach here via amazing big alley of fort wall.
Which was developed during the reign of King vikram Aditya

There is a special story about the temple, earlier while visiting Mahakaal temple this was one of the entrance to reach the sanctum of Mahakaal temple where two Devi’s /goodess use to reside.
Like this there are around 32 mythical guardians resides around the main Mahakaal temple.
So every new king has to pass test of these 32 guardians so while many people failed , Vikramaditya is said to pass this test and become the king of Gupta Dyansty.

The place is really auspicious , do visit the place whenever you visit Ujjain , also there is a good thrift market to buy souvneirs around the place ,around there is a mahaganpathi temple close to place however I couldn’t visit there because some minister visit 😅Typical Indian politics

However I feel Ujjain is really special place in our puranas as well as home to Mahakaal .

Temple timings -5am to 7pm (free entry)

Stay with me on journey explore more of Ujjain and keep following for planning your next spiritual trip here ✌️

Hampi — Creativity , Divinity , Soul

My Main agenda in Hampi was to explore Shree Ram journey so I got literally quite less time to explore it’s monuments however before living the city I wanted to see this biggest Shivalinga of Hampi and Ugra Narasimha and there it was at the exit of Hampi.

Our new friend Raj (whom we met in Hampi)helping us to get to nearest bus stand for the next stop as he already got late to the place he was planning to visit because I planned to hike Matanga Hill in morning , however I was this place which was having both these places I wanted to visit and requested him to chalo ek small turn just for 10 mins just visit this and I adored this marvel of Hampi when I saw this amazing.

See I know I can’t see everything of the place I visit but still I want to see how much I can so why shouldn’t it a try and also a clear motivation for my revisit here to capture the Hemakunta monuments of the north Hampi and hear the history of it’s walls .Plus you I can take a cycle on rent here to explore this all.

Don’t wait visit this place atleast once in your 70-80 years of life span and Keep following to explore more with me ✌️
Support the journey or come with me 🚶

Place which resembles the third eye of Shiva 🕉️👁️

The Virupaksha Temple (Virup- formless and aksha-3rd eye)

Visited this auspicious temple in Hampi from 7th century during the evening Aarti sensation after exploring the horizons of Hampi across Tungabhadra river.

The temple is an UNESCO site because of it’s Dravidian Style Architecture ,it is at the centre of the Hampi .
It has three inner sanctum which represents one by one entry inside towards the third eye of lord shiva.

The main gopuram (entrance tower) is about 50 meters tall, visible from much of Hampi.

Beautiful mandapas (pillared halls), intricate carvings, and murals.

Also there is a mathematical marvel inside: a pinhole camera-like setup where the inverted image of the gopuram falls on a wall inside the temple.

Being part of former Vijaynagara empire the temple remain still even after it’s downfall during 16th century.

Timings for visiting temples are-⌚️⏰
Morning - 6am to 1pm
Evening - 5pm to 8pm

Best aerial view of temple comes from Matunga Hill.
Exact drone like shots.

Laskhmi the elephant in Hampi was the scared she was the part of main rituals till 2020 after her death there is new elephant in sanctum as the elephants are holy animals representing the divinity of god in temples.

Let me tell you next story from the walls of these pillars

Next stop is 64 pillars Mantapa of King Krishnadevraya📍

Sitting near Tungabadhra river tells a tale of King Krishnadevraya who planned his death as he know someone from his ministry is trying to kill him and take over his thrown so he planned is cremation here and then through a secret passage he escaped , dummy was burnt and he escaped into the forest for a year and checked everyone who was planning his murder and then punished them when he releaved he is alive.

Also do u know Krishnadevraya is the king who laid the foundation of stone chariot we adore in Hampi and on rs 50 note ✌️

Place is just small and peaceful from here you can visit Nava brindavan through a small boat ride to a small island.

Now follow and explore more of Hampi , through my lens.

Less Time and More Exploration (Munnar- Kochi Itinerary)

So finally launching my Munnar Kochi itinerary with the Ghibli trend ✌️

Plan (ab shanti se save krlo baar baar nhi milega 😜)

Day 1 -
From Bengaluru Reach Munnar directly or via Kochi (via Kochi you will waste time even though your bus fair a bit extra but you can explore extra)

- Reach Zostel Munnar or your own stay 📍🏡

(now from here Munnar has 4 direction to explore

But I wanted to see magical sunrise

- Go towards Thekkady direction (Day 2)🛣️
Explore Signal Point , Lockhart gap view point , rock cave (jeep ride -1500 full jeep 4-5 people can join)

Do a small trek to Phantom Hills and stay in a tent inside forest .

Now Day 3 ⏰

Wake up early at 4 am go for a jeep ride to Kolukumalai peak and view the magical sunrise (you can take this ride from Zostel directly also check with them before you plan)

For me it was with tent stay and phantom hill trek -1600rs per head

Next head towards Coimbatore direction same day

- Enjoy at Lakkom Falls
- Anaimudi Peak
- Ancient town Marayoor
- Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary

Don’t visit Eravikulam national park as there is only one animal Munnar goat there instead visit chinnar wildlife sanctuary quickly to view Thoovanam falls but it closes sooner by 1pm so be a bit early

Next Day 4 🚎🏖️

Take bus from Munnar and head towards Kochi (take bus to Ernakulam bus stop)

Then take a boat jetty ride to fort Kochi
Enjoy the sunset view at fort Kochi beach it might not be clean but you will enjoy the vibe of the place or you can sit at any cafe near by

Then at last take the rare experience of water metro in Kochi and then catch your bus back to Bengaluru

(One day was consumed while I was heading to Munnar as it was hard to get the bus from Kochi towards Munnar and we wasted around 2-3 hours there )

However I enjoyed a lot so, learn from my mistake and explore more the top station side of Munnar and keep following to plan your next journey 🤟.

I Explored Kochi in 12 hours

Can you believe that , it’s an amazing small city which we can be beautifully explored via its sea routes in just short Span of time,

Though I haven’t explored the churches ,museum and yoga practices that happens in the place but still I was able to take a super cheap ride on boat ,less than bus less than auto then I had a peaceful sunset experience at the fort Kochi beach and then taken my first ever water metro ride adoring the view ocean at the night

So this how you can enjoy your short time at Kochi ,whether you are coming from Alleppey ,Munnar or Kannur you can visit Kochi.

It’s the most developed city in whole Kerala so won’t struggle here for things to get.

Now now plan -

✅Reach Kochi from Munnar early morning by 10-11 am
(Tip- Take the bus to Ernakulam not Vytila as in the Ernakulam bus stand you can deposit your bags as well)

🧳Deposit your extra luggage at Ernakulam bus stand for Rs 50 per bag no need to rent room

🚌 Take bus or sharing auto 30 rs only to Ernakulam boat jetty

🛥️Take boat jetty to Fort Kochi -6rs

🏖️Explore Streets of fort Kochi and move towards fort Kochi beach

🌊Adore a wonderful sunset at the beach

💦🚉 Then take your water metro experience from Fort Kochi to High court (rs 40 only)

Also don’t forget to have Kerala’s delicacies on the way of our exploration ✌️

And Keep following to plan your pocket friendly best trip
